Construction Products Certification (CPC) has been recognised by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) as competent to provide factory production control (FPC) certification in respect of the production of concrete blocks and other masonry units (EN 771 series of standards).

Following its appointment in 2003 as a Notified Body under the Construction Products Directive, CPC was recommended for an extension of its scope by UKAS, who conducted an evaluation of its technical competence as part of the four-yearly reassessment process.
